The Town of Lake Park is hosting two in-person public meetings with the community to present, discuss, and solicit feedback on the draft Lake Park 2045 Mobility Plan and Mobility Fee.

A Mobility Plan is a forward looking and progressive approach to integrate land use and transportation improvements that provide people with the opportunity to safely, comfortably and conveniently walk, bicycle, ride transit, drive, or use new technology to move around their city. Mobility fees are based on the Mobility Plan, which specifies improvements to expand and improve roads and intersections, while also providing multimodal improvements such as sidewalks, shared-use paths, crosswalks, and trails. Mobility Fees are allowed to be collected from new development and redevelopment to fund the Mobility Plan under Florida statute as a proportionate fee for development impacts to the transportation network.
